An ancient art

Chinese painting is more than 1000 years old and differs from European painting in many ways. The deep connections of the depictions with ancient Feng Shui symbolism, Buddhist religion, calligraphy or Chinese culture are largely unknown in Germany.

Unlike European paintings, it is less about telling a story or photographically depicting an object than it is about portraying its spiritual significance.

With this blog I would like to pass on my knowledge of this art acquired in China to all interested readers and introduce you to this fascinating ancient art with my own pictures.
